Geposted von Dray Walk am

The Number Six January Sale is now in full swing, we’ve gone up to 50% off nearly everything in the store. This week the Number Six team handpicked a few highlights from the sale rails we’ve got in store and online.

Jake - SIXES Geelong Knit (Soft Denim)

SIXES is the homegrown brand we’ve put together over the last few years. We focus on developing a selection of wardrobe staples influenced by the people we’ve met along the way since we opened Number Six eight years ago. Keeping things close to home is top of our priority list when we’re producing SIXES we choose suppliers based in the UK. It means our collection is made sustainably and ethically.

The Geelong Knit is crafted in Scotland using a process that makes an entirely seamless garment, which means it wears comfortably. It’s the ultimate classic, lightweight knit that you can carry across all weathers. This SIXES knit features a crew neckline, ribbed cuffs, and a ribbed hem to keep the warmth in all day long. It looks decent, you can’t go wrong.

Matt - Soulland Boege Coat (Multi)

Cult classics Soulland are unparalleled kings of doing menswear differently in all the right ways. These guys are full of strong concepts and even stronger design quality, thanks to their heavy heritage influence. Combining their authentic history with traditional menswear makes something unmistakable.

The Boege Coat is a super heavyweight piece of outerwear that you can rely on for anything. It’s fully lined with a storm flap at the collar to keep you warm, and a couple inner pockets at the sides. It’s practical, durable, and cleverly designed with a concealed placket to top it all off.

Ellen - Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70 Hi Suede (Pioneer Blue & Egret)

Converse is a Number Six staple. We make sure we’ve always got a good supply of the Chuck Taylor All Star 70s in a range of colourways and textures. The Suede Converse has been a firm favourite amongst our staff and customers since they first came in. They feature the unmistakable leather All-Star badge at the inner ankle and have a Vintage license plate at the heel. Devil’s in the details...

The All-Star 70s are part of Converse’s recrafted trainer collection that takes all the best bits from their current design and combines it with the traditional 1970s detailing. We’re talking extra cushioning on the footbed, heavier-grade uppers, higher rubber foxing and sidewall stitching.

Will - Le Fix Marina Hood (Navy)

Le Fix has been leading a Danish streetwear-influenced revolution since the 90s. Based in Copenhagen, they’ve grown as a collective with workspaces including a tattoo studio, an art gallery, and two stores. Le Fix is centred around a handful of good mates with a vision for all-around creative freedom. The team here at Number Six have a lot of time for that way of thinking.

The Marina Hood fits straight into their trademark clean lines and strong design work, thanks to its original Le Fix 3D chest logo and piping details at the sleeves and hood. Each garment from Le Fix uses an original pattern they’ve cut in-house. When you buy from these guys, you’re getting true originality. We reckon the hoodie’s the most versatile piece from our collection, we’d recommend it with anything and everything.

It’s a classic mac cut with good length, structure, and pockets for practicality. Premium construction techniques with unique, locally sourced fabrics make this one of the best bits of outerwear we’ve seen in a while.

Lilly - Baracuta G10 Winter Jacket (Khaki)

Baracuta produces everything in the heart of Manchester, they’ve been fighting the cause for the British manufacturing industry since 1864. Just like us lot at Number Six, they’re the kings of cool. It’s an iconic design that’s been about to see the Mods, Skinheads, and even Steve McQueen through their greatest moments. Getting your hands on a Baracuta is a top life decision.
